What would happen if the U.S. dollar was no longer the world’s reserve currency?
We've heard talk of that lately but what would happen if the reserve currency was changed to the Euro, the Yen or a new single world currency?
1. Everything we import would cost more.
2. The credit market would collapse.
3. The Fed would print more money to combat the credit squeeze and the likely result would be hyper inflation.
4. American power and influence in the world would seriously decline.
5. Some nations would be bigger losers than others from the fall of the dollar.
6. World politics would be altered.
7. American lifestyles will change radically.
